An Etruscan terracotta skyphos
Etruscan vase painting was produced from the 7th through the 4th centuries BC, and is a major element in Etruscan art. The imaginative rendering of lyrical tendrils and flowers is reminiscent of similar motifs on Greek pottery of Southern Italy, especially Apulia. The picture shows two sides of one vase. On the Left: floral ornaments with maenad heads. On the right: floral tendrils with duck.
