Chevrolet Avalanche
The Chevrolet Avalanche is a four-door, five or six passenger pickup truck sharing GM's long-wheelbase chassis. Production of the Avalanche started in September 2001 and ended April 2013; producing two generations in its lifespan. The first generation (2002–2006) pioneered the "midgate" feature, which was a pass-through between the pick-up bed and the interior of the truck. All first-generation Avalanche 1500 models come with a standard 5.3L V8 engine.
