1957 Ford Thunderbird
In 1957 Ford modified the Thunderbird with new front and rear ends as well as a more powerful V8 engine. This more powerful model was met with great enthusiasm by consumers who purchased over 20,000 units that year. The 1957 Thunderbird was the last of the “classic” two-seat T-Birds. Restyled for the new model year, the ’57 had tail fins, opera windows, a new grill and a choice of five V-8 engines. The last two-seater was built on Dec. 16, 1957.
