Improvised firearms are firearms typically constructed by adapting existing materials to the purpose. Improvised firearms may be used as tools by criminals and insurgents. (1- The "EOKA pistol" was a Cypriot improvised pistol produced by Greek Cypriot guerrilla organization EOKA.; 2- Home made Mau Mau rifle. The Mau Mau fought the British administration in Kenya in the 1950s. They often used brutal methods. In response, the British placed Mau Mau suspects in detention camps with poor condition).
