Moshe Safdie
Moshe Safdie was born on July 14, 1938, is an architect, urban planner, educator, theorist, and author. In a career spanning more than 50 years, he has explored principles of socially responsible design. Sited in venues as diverse as North and South America, the Middle East, and many parts of Asia. He is most identified with designing Marina Bay Sands and Jewel Changi Airport, as well as his debut project, Habitat 67, originally conceived as his thesis at McGill University. It launched his international career.
