Peony
The peony is a flowering plant. Peonies are found primarily in China and are viewed by many as the country’s unofficial national flower. They symbolize prosperity, honor, and richness. Most are herbaceous perennial plants 0.25–1 metre tall, but some are woody shrubs 0.25–3.5 metres tall. Peonies are popular garden plants in temperate regions.
