Renzo Piano

Renzo Piano

Renzo Piano was born on 14 September 1937 is an Italian architect. His notable buildings include the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris (1977), The Shard in London (2012) and the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City (2015). He won the Pritzker Architecture Prize in 1998. His work encompasses many different sectors: from trade fair pavilions to historical building restoration, and from studies on materials and processes to boat and furniture design.
