Termites

Termites are known as "silent destroyers" because of their ability to chew through wood, flooring and even wallpaper undetected. There are about 2,000 known termite species in the world. Termites are widespread in warm parts of the world. As in other species, wood digestion in Coptotermes niger of Central America begins with chewing mouthparts and ends with gut microbes.

Spinning webs
Spiders have structures called spinnerets on their abdomen, usually on the underside to the rear. These are the silk-spinning organs. Silk is one of the strongest materials produced by any living thing. Spiders and insects such as caterpillars make it into cocoons, but spiders also use it to form traps for catching their prey.
