Heywood "Woody" Allen (November 30, 1935) is an American film director, writer, actor, and comedian whose career spans more than six decades and multiple Academy Award-winning films. He began his career writing material for television in the 1950s. He is best known for his work writing and directly romantic comedies. Woody Allen is best known as an actor for playing a neurotic New Yorker, a character that is true to himself. He has produced and directed more than 40 movies. Some of his better-known movies include “Annie Hall”, “Hannah and her sisters”, “Manhattan’ and “Midnight in Paris”.
