Blue-winged teal
The blue-winged teal is a species of bird in the duck, goose, and swan family Anatidae. One of the smaller members of the dabbling duck group, it occurs in North America. In flight, the Blue-winged Teal is swift, reaching speeds of up to 72 km/h. Blue-winged teals can be found in marshes, wetlands near lakes and ponds. In Captivity, they usually live up to 10-17 years, but lifespan up to 23 years has been recorded.
