Frangipani
Frangipani is the national flower of Laos, and while it is found all over the tropics, it’s native to South Asia, where it has a lot of symbolism attached to it. This lovely flower is found in pink, yellow, and white. It’s often used in spiritual rituals and has a sweet, cloying fragrance. The trees are believed by some to house ghosts and spirits—and are often associated with bad luck.
