Hibiscus
Originating in Asia and the Pacific islands, Hibiscus rosa-sinensis is the national flower of Malaysia. A tea made from hibiscus flowers is known by many names around the world and is served both hot and cold. The beverage is known for its red colour, tart flavour, and vitamin C content. The hibiscus flower meaning is associated with fame, glory, and wealth. However, since the blossoms are short-lived, many also view this flower as representative of fleeting success or beauty.
