Impala lily
Impala lily is a poisonous species of flowering plant. It is native to the Sahel regions south of the Sahara, tropical and subtropical eastern and southern Africa and also the Arabian Peninsula. Common names include Sabi star, kudu, mock azalea and desert rose. The plant contains certain toxins that are harmful to domestic stock although they are seldom eaten by animals. The toxins are used by the Bushmen as poisons for their arrowheads, although usually in conjunction with the toxins from another plant.
