Indian and Sri lankan staff weapons

Indian and Sri lankan staff weapons

1- Indian elephant goad, late 17th–early 18th century. The decoration of the shaft, in particular, combines Mughal and Deccani taste in the two landscape scenes and in the late Mughal floral patterns, so the goad probably dates from the period when the Deccan was part of the Mughal empire; 2- Indo-persian mace (gada), 17th century; 3- Flail with two quoits 1700-1799.
