Neelam Cinema
Neelam Cinema is one of three theaters built in Chandigarh, a modernist city master-planned by Le Corbusier. Inside, the large movie theater shows a burst of blue. The room has 960 seats. The tiles that cover their walls are a decorative expression that tries to unify the common regular patterns of movement with techniques and influences of Indian culture. The lateral decoration of the room are large metal pieces that represent sound waves.
